El propósito de esta investigación fue desarrollar una propuesta estratégica para impulsar
la motivación laboral en Liberty Networks en la sede del Distrito Central en Honduras. El objetivo
principal fue incrementar la motivación entre los colaboradores que brindan soporte de voz y datos
para toda América Latina. La metodología utilizada fue un enfoque mixto con alcance descriptivo
y un diseño de la investigación no experimental – transeccional, incluyendo instrumentos
recolección de datos como la encuesta a 30 colaboradores y entrevistas a tres expertos. Dentro de
los principales hallazgos de las encuestas aplicadas a los colaboradores fue que existe un 35% que
no están de acuerdo con los objetivos y el tipo de liderazgo, 36.7% se encuentran desmotivados
con sus funciones, 42% percibe un clima laboral negativo y 43.3% distingue una comunicación
negativa. Como conclusión se identificaron áreas de mejora en la percepción de los colaboradores
en cuanto a clima laboral, comunicación asertiva, tipo de liderazgo y un alto índice de rotación de
empleados. La recomendación final fue una propuesta estratégica con ejes principales en
autoaprendizaje por medio de la herramienta de LinkedIn Learning, un sistema de evaluación
continua a través de encuestas de clima laboral y un sistema de coaching para capacitación de
líderes; para incrementar la motivación en el equipo de Liberty Networks.
The purpose of this research was to develop a strategic proposal to boost employee motivation at Liberty Networks headquarters in the Central District in Honduras. The main objective was to increase motivation among employees providing voice and data support for all of Latin America. The methodology used was a mixed approach with a descriptive scope and a non- experimental cross-sectional research design, including data collection instruments such as a survey of 30 employees and interviews with three experts. Among the main findings of the surveys applied to the employees, 35% disagreed with the objectives and type of leadership, 36.7% were unmotivated with their roles, 42% perceived a negative work environment, and 43.3% identified negative communication. In conclusion, areas for improvement were identified in employee’s perception regarding work environment, assertive communication, type of leadership, lack of identity and motivation, and a high turnover rate. The final recommendation was a strategic proposal with main axes in self-learning through the LinkedIn Learning tool, a recognition system, bonuses, employee satisfaction surveys, and a coaching system for leader training to increase motivation in the Liberty Networks team.
