La práctica profesional es el proceso en el cual se culmina una etapa de estudios, donde se ha
aprendido toda la parte teórica en las aulas de clase, sin embargo la práctica permite poner en
marcha todo lo aprendido y aventurarse a nutrirse de experiencia que se requiere en el ámbito
laboral de la ingeniería civil, por lo que esta etapa permite enlazar lo teórico aprendido con lo
parte práctica mediante un ámbito laboral, que permite al alumno de ingeniería poner en práctica
todos los conocimientos adquiridos en un proyecto en ejecución.
Dicha práctica, se ha llevado a cabo en una empresa muy prestigiosa denominada Servicios de
Mantenimiento y Construcción SERMACO S.A. de C.V. en el proyecto “Pavimentación Con
Concreto Hidráulico 4000 psi 05S05420 Ruta 54, Cañaveral-Caracol (Cañaveral-Desvío
Pulhapanzak) 4.90 km, Departamento de Cortes, Fase l”, el cual consiste en la pavimentación de
una carretera que es de alto transito y es vía que comunica el sector turístico denominado Joya
de los Lagos, siendo un proyecto prioritario con la particularidad de ser un proyecto
intermunicipal.
El desarrollo de este proyecto permite un enfoque mixto, el cual conlleva labores de campo como
ser procedimientos constructivos, cálculos de material, supervisión de obra, control de calidad,
rendimientos de maquinaria, etc. Mientas que la parte administrativa, permite llevar actividades
como ser cálculo de cantidades de obra, estimaciones de obra, planillas, reportes de auditorías,
etc. Todas estas actividades permiten una mayor adquisición de conocimientos que son muy
explícitos que permiten una mayor experiencia adquirida
