Nuestro país cuenta con una ley de protección animal poco socializada, la inexistencia de
lugares para el rescate animal por parte del estado, el abuso a los animales domésticos en los
diferentes estratos sociales es un problema que aqueja a la sociedad hondureña, el poco interés
gubernamental por frenar este tipo de problema.
Una de las razones de la existencia de esta problemática es la ignorancia; pues son
muchas las practicas que se han transmitido de generación en generación y las mismas se miran
con total normalidad en nuestra ciudadanía.
