Esta tesis, un trabajo de investigación profesional para el nivel de maestría, tuvo como su principal objetivo evaluar la viabilidad de implementar la metodología ágil Scrum en la gestión de proyectos tecnológicos dentro del departamento de informática del Hospital, Clínica y Óptica Santa Lucía. En concreto, la investigación comenzó describiendo el entorno organizacional existente, identificando los factores críticos de éxito y las necesidades específicas de formación relacionadas con la metodología ágil Scrum. Posteriormente, se realizó un análisis de la viabilidad de implementar Scrum, teniendo en cuenta los factores críticos de éxito y los requisitos de capacitación identificados. La tesis culminó con el diseño de una propuesta de estrategia de implementación de Scrum, que se prevé se convierta en la metodología ágil de gestión de proyectos para el departamento de TI de la organización.
This thesis, a professional research work for the master's degree level, had as its main objective the evaluation of the viability of implementing the agile Scrum methodology in the management of technological projects within the IT department of the Hospital, Clínica y Óptica Santa Lucía. Specifically, the research began by describing the existing organizational environment, identifying the critical success factors and the specific training needs related to the agile Scrum methodology. Subsequently, an analysis of the feasibility of implementing Scrum was carried out, taking into account the critical success factors and training requirements identified. The thesis culminated in the design of a proposal for a Scrum implementation strategy, which is expected to become the de facto agile project management methodology for the organization's IT department.
