Abstract
Description
During the weeks of February and March, various architectural digitization projects were carried out using tools like Planswift and Stack. These included creating digital libraries of roofing components, counting windows and doors, as well as measuring and digitizing roofs in residential and commercial structures. The implementation of Planswift in the Palladium project in San Antonio improved efficiency in roof design and facilitated communication between teams, supporting informed decision-making. In "The Manning," windows were accurately counted using PlanSwift, and comprehensive reports were prepared for the client. In "Wooded Lake Part 2 and 3," the counting and digitization of windows continued, facing challenges such as the variety of window types and limited access to some areas. It is recommended to explore new technologies and establish quality control protocols. The "Lennar" project focused on measuring and digitizing roofing with Stack, acquiring new knowledge in its use and measurement standards. Challenges included adapting to the new software and ensuring data accuracy. Final recommendations advocate for diversifying technical skills, establishing professional networks, and promoting innovation in architectural digitization projects. This period highlights the importance of technology in the efficiency and accuracy of architectural processes, as well as the need for continuous adaptation and effective collaboration in construction. These projects have improved communication, optimized processes, and strengthened decision-making in the construction field.
